Education

Supporting early learning, child development and better opportunities for children in underserved communities.

Description

CFSD works to improve access to foundational education for children living in communities where access to government-run early childhood centres is limited. Through its Dnyanada education sponsorship programme, CFSD provides young children with basic education along with support for their health, nutrition and overall development.

Education is approached as more than classroom learning. Alongside foundational education, children are supported through nutritious meals, regular health check-ups and extracurricular activities that contribute to their early development. CFSD also works with existing government Integrated Child Development Services centres to strengthen the quality of pre-school education across the city.
